Once in a while everyone finds an acorn. Something listed as unknown, looks like a possible so you bid on it. It arrives and you are actually astounded. So be the case here.
The bait looked to be a Bassnabber, but was on the smaller side which was intriguing. Might make a nice addition to the collection. Well.......that is an understatement. Measures only 2 1/4 inches long and is what we believe to be a Wright McGill prototype to the Bassnabber. The first few pics are of the bait and then what I believe to be the sequence of evolution of the Bassnabber. The other two prototypes shown are near the actual size of what we see in the Bassnabber bait and were made available back by Mac back in the day. Note the hand writing on all three appears to be the same. One way cool addition. NFS.
