Bagley would have been the same without Sisson. He loves to brag about his accomplishments especially when they aren't even his. Jim Bagley sold worms and pork rinds along with bang o lures until he received a crankbait that was hand carved by Mike Estep. The bait was given to Jim by Ronald Martin after a failed business venture between Mike and Roland. Jim Bagley duplicated that bait and called it the B1 and that is how Jim got started in the crankbait business.Lee Sisson claimed to be the father of the balsa bait as well.
