Thus far, my Shur Strike research has shown NO PUBLISHED CREEK CHUB or HARDWARE STORE CATALOG or MAGAZINE AD revealing either a Yellow Shiner coloration or a #23 number designation (I've been collecting paperwork for nearly 3 decades now). It appears that what we CCBC/SS collectors are calling #23 Yellow Scale is actually #12 Shiner Scale in its evolutionary painting process. Any help (ie. #23-box-end-stamp pics) or thoughts unraveling this mystery (at least for me) welcomed.
