Sorry for all the hype, but WNY is buzzing with excitement over this event! Expecting over 1M visitors to the area. Roads are being blocked off, hotel rooms at $450/night, Corona sold out!, be prep for delays of hours, all kinds of Eclipse souvenirs around, etc.
RUMORS:
the sun won’t turn back on after the Eclipse passes (US plans to fire atomic warheads at the sun if the pilot light goes off!)
phono-electric sensors will start working in reverse
there’s people wearing blankets and ORCA hats to protect their skin
your eyes will go out of synch with the sudden change from light- dark- to light in minutes and you’ll have to go to a doctor to have them reset!
Because of the opposing gravities, the Moon will get stuck between the Earth and Sun and parts of the US will forever be in darkness! So when (if) the sun starts emerging from behind the moon’s shadow, give a cheer!
