sometimes there's an easy fix to make something into a nice display piece. This is a Farlow creel circa 1880 (it's an earlier model as it has a stamped Farlow nameplate instead of the usual script writing) that had the top painted and was in a very dry state, it does have a few moth holes and has been treated but for $85 US shipped from the UK i thought i could salvage it. I was waiting to buy one of these creels as i had the ORIGINAL shoulder strap which i've seen in an 1887 Allcocks catalog. Enjoy! Dave dmb1@hotmail.com
